Get To Know Jessica!
Me: “How long have you been at McCall’s, Jessica? “
Jessica: Oh about 10 years!
Me: “You like it here and have lots of friends?”
Jessica: Oh yeah, I love it here. I have lots of friends.
Me: “Who is your best friend?”
Jessica: Mickayla, Meghan, Bessie, Natasha
Me: “What do you like to do with your best friends?”
Jessica: I like to go for walks, play video games. Right now my favorite video game is Pokemon! My favorite Pokemons are Charmander, Bulbasaur, and uhm…Skorupi.
Me: “I see you working all the time. Do you enjoy what you do?”
Jessica: Yeah, my favorite thing to do is stuff like take out the trash, mopping, sweeping, doing the dishes, stuff like that. Going outside to get exercise.
Me: “Besides working, what are some other things you like to do?”
Jessica: I like being a silly, funny person.
Me: “I heard you can be a little ornery is that true?”
Jessica: Oh yeah. I really like being silly and teasing people.
Me: “What is something you want our followers to know about Jessica?”
Jessica: I want them to know I’m a hard worker, and I love my job. I like to take care of plants.
Me: “Is it easy for you to make friends?”
Jessica: Yeah, I just have to get to know them first. I just want them to be honest with me, and nice too.
Me: “How did you meet Kristen?”
Jessica: It just kind of happened. She moved to Home 4, and she was really nice and fun, and then we just fell in love.
Me: “I heard you and Kristen have lots of big plans. You want to tell me about some of those plans?”
Jessica: Yeah! I’m really proud of her for all the stuff she’s doing. She is working really hard and I like to support her.
Me: “She said she wants to be president someday, are you excited to get to be the First Lady?”
Jessica: “*laughs* YES!”
Me: “Have you been practicing your First Lady wave? You’ve got to do it like this!” *Waves hand* Jessica follows suit excitedly.
Jessica: When I become First Lady, I’m most excited about getting to help the homeless.
Me: “Jessica, you said you like to eat. What is your favorite thing to eat?”
Jessica: I like vegetables. My favorite is corn on the cob, and I LOVE green bean casserole. I could eat it every day. AND COFFEE!
Me: “YES, girl! I love coffee, too! I drink entirely too much of it.”
Jessica: I really like doing things outside, but I don’t like it when there is trash on the ground. I like to pick it up if I see it, because it just makes everything look ugly.
Me: “Do you like playing with animals since you’re outside so much?”
Jessica: Yeah, but I don’t really get to. When I see those commercials for the dogs in the shelters it makes me sad and it makes me want to cry. I just want to play with them and love on them. My favorite animals are cats and dogs.
Me: “If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?”
Jessica: I really like what I do now with janitorial work. Maybe I could do something with animals, but I just want to play with them.
Me: “Do you have a favorite dog?
Jessica: I just want one from the shelter so I can love on him. Or maybe like a Pitbull. Can we look at a Pitbull puppy?
Me: “SURE! I’d love that!”
Me: “What are some of the really fun things you like to do here at McCall’s?”
Jessica: I like it when we play hide and go seek. You know what, I’d like to see a ghost someday. Because people are always telling me that ghosts are real, but I’d like to see one for myself. I don’t want to just believe what people tell me.
Me: “Jess, if you had to explain what love is to someone, what would you say?”
Jessica: To me, it’s about caring for that person. You have to be honest and kind. You should be loyal and try to protect them. You need to support them and always be truthful.
Me: “Do you feel like you have people here that love and care about you, people that accept you exactly as you are?”
Jessica: Yes, I feel very loved here. I like it here.
Me: “Have you ever met people that didn’t make you feel that way?”
Jessica: Yeah, mostly when I was in school. I had a lot of bullies. But not here though. Everyone is really nice to me.
Me: “What would like to say to everyone reading this?”
Jessica: Teach everyone to not be bullies. Teach them to be nice. Teach them about respect. Because what goes around comes around.
Me: “Well, Jessica. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to talk to me. I enjoyed our conversation immensely. I also love the outfit you picked out for our interview. You are STYLIN’ today. That Spiderman tie is my favorite! ”
Jessica: Me too! I was a little nervous, but it was fun! I also really like to dress up *shows me her boots* Spiderman is my favorite!
